When are you supposed to sign off your email with 'best'? what does that signify about your relationship?

i like to use 'best' when signing off my emails to friends, but was not sure what are the implications of signing off with "best' Vs "best regards'

When are you supposed to sign off your email with 'best'? what does that signify about your relationship?
For real? There is nothing wrong with wishing someone best. Most people do not read things into it. It's just a sign off.
Reply:There are no formal rules for email etiquette (although there should be)

Signing of best is find in any professional or friendly situation.
Reply:To be honest, unless you are expected to be writing in an incredibly formal manner, people won't judge you for using "best" as a sign-off. If anything, they will just think that you're a friendly person, whch is rarely a bad thing :)
Reply:The appropriate sign-off is the full phrase "Best wishes" or "Best regards" or "My very best to you." Using "Best" by itself is very casual and may suggest you have a careless, thoughtless relationship with the person to whom you are writing. E-mail in business is as important as formal memos or letters. Don't let sloppiness give others a bad impression of you.
