i have been disconnected for a week - the same userid/psw gets me to yahoo mail account, but Messenger does not 'like' it?
Cannot sign into messenger, with the same psw i sign into email?
What is the error that messenger is giving you? Have you checked your caps lock? If it just hangs it's probably your firewall blocking it, check your settings
